Business-Software Vendor Finds Business Software Impossible to Use

The Business Technology Blog in Wall Street Journal describes a software vendor’s study:

computer_trashedIFS, a business-software vendor, sent us a report titled €śThe Increasing Importance of Usability in Enterprise Software €ť €”the results of a survey earlier this year of more than 1,000 respondents. Its findings: €śA full 60 percent of respondents said their enterprise software was somewhat difficult, very difficult or almost impossible to use. Only 9 percent characterized their applications as very easy to use. €ť

This is a study conducted by a software application vendor, but it highlights the fact that enterprise software is notoriously unusable!
